Job summary

Suburban Ford of Sterling Heights is seeking a Senior Master Ford Technician (Flat Rate) to diagnose and repair complex vehicle systems onsite. You will work under the Service Manager and Shop Supervisor, delivering high-quality repairs while maintaining safety and efficiency.

The ideal candidate brings Ford Senior Master Certification, Ford dealership experience, and strong skills in electrical diagnostics, hybrids, and ADAS.

Qualifications

• Ford Senior Master Certification is required.
• Ford dealership service experience is preferred.
• 4+ years advanced electrical diagnostics.
• 3+ years advanced hybrid, EV, and ADAS systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, drivability, electrical, ADAS, and hybrid technologies.
• Perform repairs according to Ford and dealership standards.
• Complete all work in compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer requirements.
• Conduct road tests and quality control inspections to ensure repairs are completed correctly.
• Document diagnostics, repair procedures, and labor operations.
• Mentor and support apprentice and entry-level technicians when needed.
• Maintain required tools and a safe, organized work environment.
