Job description

Racing is where our story began.

In 1901, Henry Ford climbed into a car he built himself—'Sweepstakes'—and beat America's most famous driver. He wasn't a racer, but he had to win. He did. Ford Motor Company was born from that victory.

That fighting spirit lives on in Ford Racing today. We're the engineers, strategists, and competitors who bring Ford's track-tested edge into every vehicle we build. Every track, every stage, every proving ground—that's where we prove ourselves.

The result: one of the world's most iconic brands, legendary nameplates, and a team unmatched in the industry.

Our mantra: Race to win, engineer to lead.

If you're a competitor, innovator, or performance obsessive, Ford Racing is where you belong. Help us write the next chapter.

In this position...

Ford Racing is seeking an enthusiastic and talented professional to join our Experiences team supporting On-Road Events initiatives. In this role you will support the On-Road Driving Experiences Manager in overseeing all aspects of Ford Racing relevant experiences, ensuring they align with Ford’s brand values and strategic goals. You will assist in managing program operations, coordinating with various stakeholders, and continuously enhancing the customer experience.

This role is hybrid and requires at least 4 days per week onsite in Allen Park, MI.

What you'll do...

  • Support the planning, execution, and ongoing enhancement of On-Road Driving Experiences, including track days, performance driving schools, autocross events for Ford Motor Company and Ford Racing product.

  • Support the development and implementation of strategies to grow and enhance new and existing programming, attracting new customers and strengthening the brand.

  • Help develop and refine Experience curricula, incorporating market insights and competitive analysis.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Marketing, Communications, Global Markets, Dealer Relations) to ensure program success and consistency in approach, implementation, and customer experience.

  • Ensure a consistent, premium customer and brand experience across entire Ford Racing ecosystem.

  • Assist in managing vendor and partner relationships, supporting the selection and oversight of high-quality tracks, driving instructors, and event production partners.

  • Coordinate logistics for circuit and street course activations, including venue selection, vehicle fleet readiness, equipment, personnel, and on-site operations.

  • Utilize customer feedback, program data, and desirability research to inform and refine experience offerings and measure ROI.

  • Support budget tracking and vendor invoicing to help ensure program financial targets are met.

  • Prepare and present program updates, performance summaries, and recommendations to the Manager and other key stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements, including track/circuit safety protocols.

You'll have...

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in event management, customer experience, marketing, or program management, ideally within the automotive or motorsports industry.

Even better, you may have...

  • Experience in road racing, track/circuit operations, or motorsport event management.

  • Experience as a driving instructor or a background in performance/competitive driving.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities.

  • A passion for the Ford Racing brand, motorsports, and high-performance driving.

As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice. You can choose what your Ford future will look like: will your story span the globe, or keep you close to home? Will your career be a deep dive into what you love, or a series of new teams and new skills? Will you be a leader, a changemaker, a technical expert, a culture builder…or all of the above? No matter what you choose, we offer a work life that works for you, including:

  • Immediate medical, dental, vision and prescription drug coverage.
  • Flexible family care days, paid parental leave, new parent ramp-up programs, subsidized back-up child care and more.
  • Family building benefits including adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement, fertility treatments, and more.
  • Vehicle discount program for employees and family members and management leases.
  • Tuition assistance.
  • Established and active employee resource groups.
  • Paid time off for individual and team community service.
  • A generous schedule of paid holidays, including the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day.
  • Paid time off and the option to purchase additional vacation time.
