Job summary

Ford Model e U.S. is seeking an Interior IP Design & Release Engineer to design and release multiple interior products for Ford Racing vehicles. You will manage cross-functional relationships to ensure successful launches of the next generation, segment-defining products.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Engineering with 5–8+ years in IP design & release, plus 3–5+ years CAD/visualization experience and strong program-delivery knowledge. Hybrid role with onsite work four days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.
• 5-8+ years of IP design & release experience, including delivery of 1 completed program.
• 3-5+ years of experience using CAD or other visualization tools.
• Understanding of program delivery processes / GPDS.
• Working knowledge of 3DX, Teamcenter, Vis Mockup, CATIA, DFMEA, FEDE, FEDEBOM, WERS.
• Fabrication/mockup skills to demonstrate proof of concept.
• Independent self-starter that can connect analytical tools with physical hardware and vehicle performance.
• Passion for performance vehicles.
• Launch experience preferred.

In this position...

You will be responsible for the design and release of multiple interior products on the most exciting vehicles Ford Racing produces. You will manage multiple cross functional relationships both internally and externally to help ensure the successful launch of the next generation, segment defining products.

You'll have...

• Bachelors of Science in Engineering required
• 5-8+ Years of experience in Body Interior Instrument Panel (IP) Design & Release, including delivery of 1 completed program
• 3-5+ Years of experience using CAD or other visualization tools
• Understanding of program delivery processes / GPDS
• Working knowledge of 3DX, Teamcenter, Vis Mockup, CATIA, DFMEA, FEDE, FEDEBOM, WERS

This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $86,600-$144,900.
This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $99,100-$166,200.

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.

Internal applicants: moving into this role may result in an adjustment to your current compensation based on the posted pay range for this role, taking into consideration your qualifications and other relevant factors.
