$30.00/hr - $50.00/hr

Job Summary:

Jones Auto Group in Casa Grande has recently moved into a new, state-of-the-art, fully air-conditioned indoor shop! The Ford or General Motors Automotive Technician will perform skilled labor tasks on Ford or GM vehicles. This full-time position reports to the Service Manager and is based in Casa Grande, Arizona.

Compensation & Benefits:

The technician will earn a competitive hourly rate between $30 and $50, based on experience and skills. Overtime pay is available. Employees are paid semi-monthly and are eligible for benefits including health insurance, dental insurance, and retirement plans.

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on Ford or GM vehicles per manufacturer guidelines and dealership procedures.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues with diagnostic tools and software.
• Accurately complete work orders, maintaining high quality standards.
• Communicate repair timelines, costs, and services to Service Advisors and customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols.
• Stay updated with technical training through factory sessions and online courses.
• Follow dealership policies, ensuring ethical and quality work.
• Participate in team meetings and process improvements.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Automotive Technician, preferably with Ford or GM vehicles.
• ASE certification is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to undergo background check and drug testing.
