Job summary

Steven Ford is seeking an Experienced Automotive Technician to join our Service Department. The role requires diagnosing problems, performing quality repairs, and working efficiently to maximize earning potential based on production.

Qualified candidates bring strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Ford dealership experience is preferred and ASE/Ford certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous professional automotive technician experience.
• Ford dealership experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities.
• Ability to diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• ASE certifications are a plus.
• Ford certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles accurately and efficiently
• Perform mechanical, electrical, maintenance, and diagnostic repairs
• Complete vehicle inspections and identify additional repair needs
• Use modern diagnostic equipment and technical information systems
• Perform repairs according to manufacturer specifications
• Maintain accurate repair documentation
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and management
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Stay current with Ford technology, repair procedures, and training
