Qualifications

• General knowledge of vehicle mechanics.
• General mechanical skills and safe tool use.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent; US work authorization.
• Must pass pre-employment checks including background checks and MVR.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs as outlined on repair orders with safety and accuracy.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and obtain needed parts.
• Communicate with advisor/parts department for parts.
• Inspect vehicles and escalate if additional work is needed.
• Road-test vehicles when required and supervise apprentices.
• Keep shop area clean and tools accounted for.
