Job summary

Mac Haik Austin is hiring a Service Technician (Flag) to perform vehicle maintenance per repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, adhering to dealership and factory standards. The role requires diagnosing malfunctions, determining repairs, and maintaining knowledge of systems across vehicles, including drivability, electrical, engine mechanics, A/C, brakes, and more.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• ASE certification preferred or higher educational background in mechanical trades.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance per repair order to dealership standards.
• Diagnose malfunction causes and determine necessary repairs.
• Maintain knowledge of vehicle systems including drivability, electrical, engine, A/C, brakes, suspension, transmission, OBD-II.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Document all work on the repair order and record causes of failure.
