Job summary
Watsonville Ford is seeking a Ford Certified Automotive Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate holds Ford certification and ASE certification with 2+ years of service experience.
You will diagnose, repair, and service a range of vehicle systems while communicating with the Service Advisor to provide accurate estimates and updates to customers. Join a family-owned shop that values growth and reliability.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ford Certification required.
- ASE Certification preferred.
- Previous experience at a Ford dealership.
- B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair.
Responsibilities
- Perform work on repair orders efficiently per dealership standards.
- Test-drive vehicles and components using diagnostic tools.
- Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C systems.
- Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional needed work and time estimates.
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
