The role requires strong knowledge of menu items, allergens, wines, and cocktails, plus the ability to work collaboratively with peers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality coursework preferred.
• Minimum one year of prior restaurant, resort, or luxury hotel service experience.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, and mixology preferred.
• Food safety certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provides warm, professional, and anticipatory service in accordance with Forbes and resort standards.
• Greets guests promptly, presents menus, and guides them through food and beverage selections with confidence and enthusiasm.
• Possesses extensive knowledge of menu items, ingredients, allergens, wines, and cocktails to personalize recommendations.
• Takes, inputs, and confirms guest orders accurately using the POS system; verifies modifications with kitchen and bar.
• Delivers food and beverages promptly and ensures correct presentation, temperature, and timing.
• Performs quality checks to confirm guest satisfaction and resolves concerns proactively.
