GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sales Associate sets the standard of quality in eye care and eyewear by ensuring every patient and customer has the best experience at For Eyes every time. The role helps establish For Eyes as the premier destination for all vision needs in your community.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Consistently deliver sales plan and company objectives through cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend lenses and coatings.
• Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements to help customers find the perfect vision solution.
• Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed.
• Participate actively in creating a positive store environment, fostering strong, professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
• Maintain the store's appearance by keeping displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
• Promote an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, calculators, and basic math skills
• Adaptability to new technology and change with high accuracy
• Strong sales skills and accountability for results, with a goal-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and respond flexibly in a fast-changing environment
