GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sales Associate sets the standard of quality in eye care and eyewear by ensuring every patient and customer has the best experience at For Eyes every time. This role helps establish For Eyes as the premier destination for all vision needs in your community.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Consistently deliver sales plan and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and coatings.
• Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements, helping our customers find the perfect vision solution.
• Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with an Optician as needed.
• Participate actively in creating a positive store environment, fostering professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
• Maintain the appearance of the store, ensuring displays and inventory are clean, attractive, and organized.
• Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, and calculators, with basic phone and math skills
• Willingness to embrace new technology and adapt to change with high accuracy
• Ability to sell using effective sales skills and accountability for results, with a goal-oriented mindset
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and respond flexibly in a dynamic environment
