Job summary

Steve Madden is seeking a part-time Shoe Stylist to apply selling techniques to merchandise and develop a client base to build sales. You will greet customers, provide outstanding service, know product information, operate the POS system, and participate in store merchandising.

Flexibility to work day, evening, weekends and holidays is required; 1–2 years of retail experience and a HS diploma are preferred. This role includes employee discounts and growth opportunities within Steve Madden.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to process information or merchandise through the computer system and POS register system.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every customer to provide a friendly environment.
• Maintain outstanding customer service standards.
• Understand product information, promotions, and advertising efforts.
• Demonstrate salesmanship to achieve sales productivity goals.
• Assist in store operations including floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and inventory returns.
• Flexibly perform duties outside of your specific role when needed.
