Job summary

Bass Pro Shops Tyler, TX is seeking a part-time Sales Outfitter to greet and assist customers, demonstrate products, and provide information to help shopping decisions. You will maintain shelves, stay knowledgeable on promotions, and assist with seasonal merchandise moves.

You will also operate the POS system, work in a fast-paced outdoor gear environment, and contribute to a friendly, team-oriented shopping experience for every customer.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures, discounts, and make change accurately.
• Friendly, professional communication with customers and associates.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with teammates and customers.
• Experience operating a computerized POS register system.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge all customers promptly in a friendly manner.
• Demonstrate products and provide information to assist buying decisions.
• Replenish and restock merchandise per Merchandising guidelines.
• Maintain clean, neat work area and keep shelves stocked with supplies.
• Assist with Seasonal merchandise moves and promotions (CLUB Membership, VOC, In-Store Pick-up).
