JAX Mercantile in Loveland, CO, is seeking a friendly Sales Associate to help customers find the best footwear for daily wear and outdoor adventures. You will greet guests, answer questions honestly, make product recommendations, and contribute to a positive in-store experience.

This part-time role includes stocking, assisting with displays, processing payments, collaborating with teammates, and learning about our brands to provide expert opinions.

Be part of the team that answers questions about the quality, fit, and function of our footwear and helps our customers locate a specific brand or item. Our Sales Associates are responsible for greeting customers, providing honest and informative answers to questions, making suggestions about products that customers might want, and performing necessary tasks for efficient department operation. Responsibilities include stocking shelves, tracking down products for customers, keeping the department tidy, relaying customer feedback to their manager, and assisting with visual merchandising of products in the store. Additional tasks may include:

• Accurately processing payments
• Helping with displays and visual merchandising
• Maintaining a clean and well-stocked area
• Learning about products to provide better answers to customer questions
• Assisting in loss prevention efforts
• Communicating professionally
• Presenting a professional appearance and demeanor
• Taking steps to advance teamwork and develop solid working relationships with co-workers
• Assisting in inventory responsibilities

Our ideal candidate has prior customer service experience, and is willing to pitch-in where needed. Additional knowledge, skills or abilities include:

• Engaging and positive
• Requires enthusiasm and interest in quality footwear for daily work and wear as well as outdoor adventures
• Previous knowledge or experience with brands carried by JAX preferred
• Cashiering experience desired
• Computer proficiency required

Schedule Requirements:

• Must be available Sundays, Tuesdays, and Fridays
• Flexible shifts available the rest of the week

Pay Range:

$15.16 - $16.50 hourly
