Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Sales Outfitter to enhance customer experience through friendly greetings, product knowledge, and helpful guidance. The role focuses on selling, information delivery, and directing customers to merchandise options in a fast-paced outdoor retail setting.

The position emphasizes upselling, in-store promotions, and ensuring a legendary customer experience with every interaction.

Qualifications

• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers.
• Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, provide information and direction.
• Demonstrate products to customers and maintain shelves per guidelines.
• Restock merchandise and keep work area neat and stocked.
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC and In-Store Pick-up.
