Job summary
Adidas in Portland is seeking a footwear designer to lead color and material executions for NAM iterations, collaborating with Marketing, Development and Design teams to shape consumer relevant products. You will develop CMF concepts, create Color CADs, Material Maps and Graphic Maps, and travel to Asia for development trips while building compelling product stories ahead of each season.
Fluent English, a design degree, and at least 3 years in footwear or product design are required; Adidas
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Design or related field.
- 3 years of practical design experience in footwear, apparel, or industrial design.
- Strong knowledge of fashion design and materials.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
- Understanding of color/material trends and CMF concepts.
Responsibilities
- Design footwear color and materials for NAM iterations with input from Marketing and Development.
- Create Color CADs, Material Maps and Graphic Maps for ranges.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Development and Design teams to align strategy.
- Travel to Asia for development trips and collaboration.
- Develop product stories and concepts ahead of season.
