The Lansing School District in Lansing, MI is seeking athletic coaches to lead teams, recruit players, and drive academic success in line with MHSAA policies.

Coaches will organize practices and games with the Athletic Director, manage equipment, and develop offseason training and clinics for students and community members. This role emphasizes equity, excellence, and a safe educational environment.

Qualificações

• Previous coaching experience required.
• Knowledge of quality coaching tactics and drills.
• Familiarity with MHSAA and LSD rules and policies.
• CPR certification and first aid training.
• Alignment with district mission and values.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and support teams throughout the season.
• Recruit players by the season start and run tryouts if needed.
• Coach teams toward a winning record and postseason play.
• Ensure players are academically eligible all season.
• Organize practice and game schedules with the Athletic Director.
• Maintain equipment and jerseys at season start/end.
• Organize offseason conditioning, training, and clinics.
• Follow MHSAA policies and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned to support the district mission.
