Job summary

Requirements include Idaho RN license, Oregon license in process, WOCN/CFCS with BSN, and BLS. A valid driver's license is essential. A sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Must have an RN license in Idaho issued prior to hire date.
• Provide licensure or proof of application for Oregon RN license within 6 months of hire date.
• Certification as a WOCN or CFCS (BSN required) or eligible for certification within six months of hire.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification from AHA/ARC/Military Training Network required at hire unless ACLS/PALS already certified.
• Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Meets health system’s Guiding Behaviors and Caring Standards.
• Obtain health history.
• Perform focused lower extremity assessments.
• Provide education on safe nail care, debridement, callous and blister care.
• Describe safe use of nail clippers, curettes, files; prepare cultures.
• Use testing modalities Monofilament, tuning fork, and Doppler.
• Describe sterilization/disinfection protocols and cross-contamination prevention.
• Understand chronic diabetes-related conditions and provide foot care education.
• Ensure follow-up treatment based on patient needs and coordinate with provider.
