Job summary

Essen Health Care is seeking a skilled Podiatrist (DPM) to join Grand Central, NY team. The role focuses on comprehensive foot and ankle care, diagnosis, treatment, and surgical procedures as needed. In-person position with standard 40-hour weeks and competitive compensation.

Ideal candidates hold a DPM with board certification, valid state license, and experience in pediatrics, urgent care, and OR settings. Knowledge of related medical counseling and ENT topics is a plus.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited school of podiatry.
• Board certification in Podiatry.
• Valid state podiatry license.
• Proficiency in ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding.
• Experience in pediatrics, urgent care, and operating room (OR) settings preferred.
• Knowledge of addiction counseling, hospice palliative medicine, psychopharmacology, otolaryngology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized foot and ankle care to patients.
• Diagnose and treat foot conditions.
• Perform surgical procedures when necessary.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
