Maverik Inc. is hiring a Food Service Manager in Orem, Utah. You will lead a team to deliver fresh, high-quality food and exceptional customer service, oversee daily operations, develop Team Members, and ensure safe, efficient meal preparation.

This full-time role offers a starting pay of $17.05 to $19.05 per hour with a bonus program eligibility and growth opportunities as you build leadership skills in a fast-paced convenience-store environment.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of food service management experience.
• Food safety certification required by state/local jurisdiction.
• Must be 21+ to apply.

• Champion GET customer service by modeling the behaviors, coaching Team Members on consistent execution, and holding the team accountable for a welcoming and engaging customer experience.
• Lead by example and ensure the store and food service operation are running smoothly.
• Team development: assist with training, mentoring, and supervision of store team members.
• Facility maintenance: ensure proper and safe food preparation while maintaining clean self-serving options (food & drink dispensers).
• Operational excellence: inspect facilities/equipment with Store Director and third-party inspections.

Food Service Manager

Physical Requirements

• This position involves frequent standing, walking, handling, and horizontal reaching. It also requires reaching above shoulder level and below the waist, as well as activities such as bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, and pushing. The role may involve lifting, carrying, or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures, while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
