Perdue Foods is seeking a Foods Operational FP&A Manager to deliver timely, accurate reporting and analysis across Manufacturing Operations, Engineering, and Finance for Harvest and Further Processing.

You will partner with plant and business teams as a trusted contact for manufacturing data, help evaluate capital investments, explain performance, and identify process improvements. Strong Excel/Power BI skills are essential, with a focus on reliable results.

Responsabilités

• Prepare assigned weekly, monthly, and quarterly manufacturing-related reports and analysis.
• Identify and explain key variances in financial data.
• Support Capital Expenditure Requests and annual budgeting process with timely, accurate data.
• Assist with IRR calculations for Manufacturing Capital Expenditure Requests.
• Track financial performance for strategic manufacturing initiatives using existing tools and new tools.
• Automate reports using Power BI, Excel, SAP and other tools; develop new Power BI models.
• Develop understanding of plant production to validate assumptions and insights.
• Serve as point of contact for manufacturing information and provide ad hoc support.
• Complete ad hoc report generation and special projects as requested.

Summary

Turn manufacturing data into insights that drive smarter decisions across our Foods business. As the Foods Operational FP&A Manager, you will deliver timely, accurate reporting and analysis that supports Manufacturing Operations, Engineering, and Finance across both Harvest and Further Processing operations. You will partner closely with plant and business teams as a trusted point of contact for manufacturing-related information, helping evaluate capital investments, explain performance, and uncover process improvement opportunities. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytical problem-solver who thrives on collaboration, brings advanced skills in tools like Excel and Power BI, and takes pride in delivering reliable results.

The salary range for this position is $101,000 - $151,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare assigned weekly, monthly, and quarterly manufacturing-related reports and analysis.

• Identify and explain key variances.

• Provide timely and accurate support to the Manufacturing team for Capital Expenditure Requests as well as the annual budgeting process.

• Assist with the preparation of Internal Rates of Return for Manufacturing Capital Expenditure Requests.

• Support the tracking of financial performance for key strategic manufacturing initiatives and projects, utilizing existing tools and developing new tools.

• Assist the Accounting and Finance Organization in streamlining and automating existing reports using Power BI, Excel, AI, SAP, and other reporting tools.

• Create new advanced Power BI models to provide increased analytics and data visibility to customers.

• Develop a thorough understanding of plant production operations in order to help validate assumptions and offer insight into results and process improvement opportunities.

• Serve as a point of contact for manufacturing-related information, providing ad hoc support to other areas of the business.

• Complete ad hoc report generation and special projects as requested.

Minimum Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree.

• 7+ years of related experience supporting manufacturing operations.

• Working knowledge of financial and accounting principles.

• Advanced technical skills in Excel, Power BI, AI, etc.

• Display strong analytical aptitude, desire to deal with ambiguity, synthesize complex data, and draw business insights.

• Ability to identify patterns from disparate sources and deliver comprehensive analyses.

• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects.

• A detail-oriented approach; must pay close attention to details and error check own work.

• Ability to work independently.

• Trustworthy with confidential information.

• Reliability (attendance and timeliness) important to ensure execution of deliverables.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Customer service mindset and ability to work with internal “clients” around the company.

• Ability to cope with pressure and changing priorities with a focus on delivering results.

• Strong Microsoft Office skills as well as the ability to learn software applications (i.e., SAP and Hyperion Essbase).

• Experience with Power BI is highly desired; however, candidates with demonstrated success using comparable business intelligence or data visualization tools, along with a strong aptitude and willingness to learn Power BI, will be considered.

Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors

• Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.

• May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.

• May need to access files, supplies, and equipment.

• Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.

• Travel to customer sites on a frequent basis.

• Periodic time spent in harvest and further processed plants required.
