Compass Group USA’s Chartwells K-12 in Hailey, ID is hiring Food Unit Lead for full-time and part-time schedules. The role coordinates daily food-service activities and helps create a positive dining experience for students and staff.

Essential duties include supervising staff, assisting with meal preparation and service, maintaining sanitation and safety, handling cash and records, and providing quality customer service. Prior cooking and food service experience is required.

Qualifications

• Prior cooking and food service experience is required.
• Location Hailey, ID (Blaine County).
• Full-time and part-time schedules available.
• Mon–Fri schedule; hours may vary.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates activities of other food-service employees to create an enjoyable dining experience.
• Oversees preparation and service of food and beverages according to standards.
• Ensures timely meal service and supervises serving of meals.
• Responds to customer concerns in person and by email when applicable.
• Trains employees and coordinates work to promote efficiency and excellence.
• Prepares work schedules and expedites workflow.
• Maintains daily/weekly/monthly reports (inventory, payroll, timekeeping).
• Handles cash deposits and petty cash as per policy.
• Orders food and supplies from approved sources.
• Maintains sanitation and safety in accordance with company standards and regulations.
• Develops sanitation schedules and ensures adherence by staff.
• Issues written and oral instructions.
• Selects and orients staff; oversees training.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
