Job summary

Morrison Living is hiring immediately for full-time Food Unit Lead positions at Walter Reuther Hospital, 30901 Palmer Avenue, Westland, MI 48186. Schedule is full-time with rotating days, nights, weekends and holidays. Prior management and food service experience required.

You will coordinate activities of other food-service staff, ensure quality customer service, oversee food prep and service, assist in menu planning, and supervise safety and sanitation in the dining area.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates activities of other food-service employees.
• Creates an enjoyable dining experience for customers, staff and visitors.
• Oversees the preparation and service of food and beverage items to company standards.
• Helps plan menus and ensures timely, efficient meal service.
• Supervises serving of meals and handles customer complaints.
• Trains employees and assigns work to promote efficiency and excellence.
• Determines work procedures and expedit es workflow.
• Maintains daily/weekly/monthly reports including inventory and payroll.
