Job Title: Food Transporter / Delivery Driver

We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time FOOD TRANSPORTER / DELIVERY DRIVER positions.

Location: Twin Valley Behavioral Health - 2200 West Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43223. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules. Days and hours may vary, including every other weekend; more details upon interview.

Requirements: Six months of previous food service utility experience and truck driving experience is preferred, but not required.

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Delivers food, supplies, and other products to units and areas of service using a vehicle.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Picks up requisitioned supplies from staging clerk.
• Receives completed production orders from staging clerk and inventories items.
• Loads orders onto truck safely and orderly with assistance.
• Unloads requisitioned materials at delivery site.
• Follows sanitation and safety guidelines when handling food and equipment.
• Ensures food items are kept in compliance with standards and safety requirements.
• Collects empty containers and rejected or unsold merchandise.
• Maintains cleanliness of the vehicle.
• Performs routine maintenance on the truck.
• Interacts with coworkers to ensure service standards.
• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid state driver's license and food handler's permit where required.
• Safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws.
