Job summary

Tanner Health System in Carrollton, GA, seeks a Transportation Specialist - Food and Nutrition (Days) to safely deliver and pick up food supplies, perform food prep, serve meals, and assist with temperature recording. The role includes light kitchen duties, cleaning, and customer service to patients and visitors.

A valid driver’s license and ServSafe training are required; DOT exam pass within one year is needed. External candidates may receive a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and follow directions.
• Must pass DOT physical exam for Medical Card and DOT Registry number.
• Must complete ServSafe Food Handler course within one year of hire.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and meet Tanner Health System insurability standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely and timely delivery and pickup of food supplies.
• Perform food service duties within the kitchen area and on the service line.
• Record temperatures of food items delivered and assist with food preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness of food equipment and work area (sweeping, mopping, etc.).
