Job summary

F&S Fresh Foods in Vineland, New Jersey, is seeking a Food Technologist to support product development, process improvement, and commercialization of fresh, refrigerated and value-added foods. Reporting to the Director of Product Development, you will lead prototyping, scale-up, sensory testing, and cross-functional collaboration with Operations, QA, Procurement, and Sales to bring new products to market.

This on-site role requires a mix of lab, office, and production exposure, with

Qualifications

Must have a degree in a related science field with hands-on food development exposure.
Experience in product trials, sensory evaluation, or shelf-life testing is required.
Strong documentation and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and improve products, create prototypes and formulations.
Plan plant trials and scale benchtop formulas to production.
Prepare manufacturing instructions, specs and parameters.
Maintain formulas, trial records and labeling information.
Collaborate with Operations, QA, Procurement, Sales and labs to advance products.
