Minimum Qualifications
  • Ability and willingness to lift 50 pounds.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Willingness to work overtime if necessary.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Successful completion of the due diligence process, including a Level II background check and drug test.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in dietary at a long-term care facility.
Position Description
  • Work under the supervision of the Food Service Administrator to ensure food storage, preparation, distribution, and service under sanitary conditions.
  • Maintain cleanliness of dish room, serving area, dining room, and food storage; assist in meal preparation and setup; follow recipes and instructions; perform equipment maintenance tasks.
  • Record temperatures, report faulty equipment, and manage food and supply inventory.
  • Assist with food and supply procurement, check incoming shipments, rotate stock, and ensure safety procedures are followed.
  • Participate in in-service trainings and perform additional duties as assigned.
