Sodexo is hiring a Food Supervisor for the Deaconess Gateway location in Newburgh, Indiana. The role oversees on-site food service operations, coordinating tasks and guiding staff in fast casual, cafe, and events environments.

You’ll report to management and help maintain quality, service standards, and a safe work environment. The position requires 1+ years of related experience with supervisory duties preferred.

• Minimum 1 year of related work experience, supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of food service staff on-site under management direction.

Food Supervisor

Location: DEACONESS GATEWAY - 48576001

Workdays/shifts : Afternoon/evenings - varying days, and some weekends/holidays. More details will be provided during the interview process.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $19 per hour - $19 per hour

What You’ll Do:

As a Food Supervisor at Sodexo, you are a master multitasker and a quality-of-life improver. You will provides oversight at the direction of management on-site to coordinate routine work activities of service employees engaged in food operations, including but not limited to fast casual, coffee/counter service, cafeterias, events/banquets, casual dining and cafes.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
• Assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees.
• Facilitate orientation and training of employees
• Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

• Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.
• 1 or more years of related work experience. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
