The Salvation Army Emergency Lodge provides a wide variety of services to those in need.Since 1979, the 120-bed Emergency Lodge, located at1730 N 7th St. in Milwaukee, has provided emergency shelter to homeless individuals and families with children. The Food Services Worker will prepare, cook and serve food for the residents of the Emergency Lodge Homeless Shelter; clean the kitchen, dining room and food service areas according to sanitation and safety standards.
About the role :
Education : High school diploma or equivalent
Experience : One year experience in food services, institutional cooking or related experience
Certifications : Serve Safe Certification; valid Wisconsin Driver’s license with clearance to drive from The Salvation Army’s insurance carrier preferred.
