Job summary

BayCare is seeking a part-time Food Service Team Member to join the St. Anthony's Hospital Food and Nutrition Services. You will provide food service to patients, guests and staff, maintain a clean environment, and assist with deliveries and tray assembly. The role requires flexibility including nights and weekends.

Candidates should have strong interpersonal and communication skills and basic computer skills. Prior food service or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Preferred – HS Diploma or GED (not required).
• Preferred – 6 months in food services or customer service (not required).
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication abilities in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide food service to patients, guests or customers; maintain a clean, sanitary and safe food area.
• Receive and store deliveries using FIFO principles; assist with daily kitchen duties as needed.
• Serve as liaison between patients, guests, physicians and Food and Nutrition Services.

BayCare is currently in search of our newestTeamMember who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our patients, team members, and families by joining our food services team.

Team members for this position will work at St. Anthony's Hospital. This position requires flexible availability including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide food service to patients, guests or customers. Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe food production environment. May prepare food or drink items, assemble and deliver patient trays or catering events and perform daily cleaning of dishes and work areas. Receive and store food and supply deliveries using FIFO principles. Act as a liaison between, patients, guests, physicians, other hospital personnel and Food and Nutrition Services. Perform other duties as assigned.
