Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a Production Supervisor to assist the Production Manager in overseeing operations, quality, product safety, associate safety, production metrics, staffing, budgeting, maintenance, and raw material planning.

This role involves driving continuous improvement, training staff on equipment, ensuring GMP and safety compliance, and coordinating scheduling and inventory to meet daily targets.

Responsibilities

• Ensure FSIS, GMP, USDA and state standards compliance.
• Meet daily/weekly production targets and analyze performance.
• Develop methods to improve productivity and exceed standards.
• Monitor production equipment and coordinate with maintenance for uptime.
• Train associates on production equipment and troubleshoot issues.
• Meet production orders and manage scheduling; control inventory.
• Ensure associate safety; run safety meetings and audits.
• Plan staffing, raw materials and capacity weekly.
• Maintain presence on the production floor at least half the time.
• Complete administrative tasks: performance reports, scheduling, labor reconciliation.
• Communicate team performance to coordinators and lead to drive action plans.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
