Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Food Service Representative to deliver patient trays during meals, assist with food production, and support the tray line while maintaining quality, safety, and patient satisfaction.

You will work in a healthcare setting, following ICARE care standards and AIDET communication protocols to ensure therapeutic diet requirements are met and meals are served timely.

Qualifications

• Patient-focused food service experience preferred in healthcare
• Familiarity with nutrition and diet options for therapeutic diets
• Ability to follow sanitation policies and HACCP/food safety standards

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient trays during meal service within established time frames.
• Assist with food production and assembly processes.
• Respond promptly to nursing staff needs for patient food care.
• Stock and restock the tray line at shift end.
• Adhere to Maricopa County Health Department Food Code sanitation standards.
• Communicate with patients using AIDET protocols and discuss menu options when required.
