Job Description

As a Food Services Manager, you will oversee operations and personnel within your designated Area of Responsibility (AOR), ensuring efficient, high-quality service delivery. Your responsibilities will include:
• Lead day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth execution, client satisfaction, and strong financial performance.
• Coordinate with various teams, personnel, and clients to ensure effective operations, while managing the availability of skilled personnel and resources.
• Ensure the safe and clean preparation of nutritious, visually appealing meals. Provide culinary guidance and instruction to subordinate employees, subcontractors, and/or labor broker personnel.
• Oversee inventory control, ordering processes, and proper food storage to ensure consistency and reduce waste.
• Ensure all food service operations comply with health and safety regulations, while adhering to approved menu plans.
• Maintain and implement training programs to ensure all personnel meet performance standards and safety requirements.
• Promote and maintain a safe and sanitary working environment at all times.
• Ensure the quality and quantity of food prepared and delivered meets client expectations.
• Foster teamwork by working cooperatively with other staff members to achieve operational goals.
• As directed by management, you may supervise employees or subcontractor personnel in accordance with the “General Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities” addendum.
• Position may be located in diverse environments, ranging from typical office settings to challenging project worksites with harsh living and working conditions.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at an intermediate level, as required for job functions.
• Basic physical ability to perform job functions and ensure safety standards are met.

Basic Job Requirements
• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience, with 6–9 years of related experience.
• Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, or other specialized applications necessary for job functions.
• Must be a qualified cook with the ability to manage food service operations effectively.
Other Job Requirements
• Must possess and maintain TB Med 530 - Tri Service Food Code or ServSafe Certification upon hire and throughout employment.
• Active Secret Clearance Required

Salary Range
32,000 to 50,000
Market Rate
The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
