Chateau Rehab and Nursing Center in Rochelle Park, NJ is seeking an experienced Food Services Director to oversee our Dietary/Food Services Department within a skilled nursing and long-term care setting. This full-time role works 8:00 AM–4:00 PM and reports to the facility leadership.

Chateau Rehab and Nursing Center is seeking an experienced Food Services Director to oversee our Dietary/Food Services Department in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting.
Oversee daily Dietary/Food Services operations in a skilled nursing facility.
Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate dietary staff.
Coordinate dietary services with Nursing, Administration, Activities, Social Services, and Infection Control.
Manage menus, therapeutic diets, diet changes, resident preferences, and special diets.
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, infection control, and regulatory standards.
Monitor food quality, portion control, meal service, inventory, supplies, and food costs.
Maintain dietary records, menus, recipes, reports, and required documentation.
Address resident and family dietary concerns and complaints.
Participate in facility surveys, inspections, audits, QAPI/QAA activities, and plans of correction.
Assist with resident discharge planning and dietary needs.
Maintain required SDS/MSDS documentation and departmental safety procedures.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality, resident-centered nutritional services.
Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in Food Services/Dietary Services in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, nursing home, or healthcare setting.
Experience with long-term care dietary operations preferred.
Knowledge of diet therapy, therapeutic diets, food safety, sanitation, cost control, and food management.
Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Empeon and Microsoft Office experience preferred.
