• Helps and assists other workers with joint tasks when other assigned tasks are completed.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION (1-3 LINES DESCRIBING ROLE):

Under the direction of the Nothborough and Southborough Food Services Manager, the job of Food Services Manager assumes responsibility for food service operations as they may apply and/or are assigned to particular schools.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES (NOT LIMITED TO):

• 1. Assumes responsibility for food service operations as they may apply and/or are assigned to particular schools.
• 2. Serves food provided in an appealing manner.
• 3. Assures the cleaning of all serving areas and other paraphernalia related to the production, serving or storing of all foods used.

Dresses appropriate to the tasks and the workplace and to essentially meet the standards of safety, health and cleanliness.

• Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as may be designated or assigned by the Northborough and Southborough Food Services Manager.
• Maintains prompt and regular attendance.

• Completes all other assignments as requested by the Superintendent of Schools or designee.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Work Environment:

Work is generally performed in a school environment during the school day.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to walk, climb, stoop, reach and bend as well as climb and work on ladders.

Must be able to lift up to 42 pounds and occasionally move or lift up to 50 pounds.
