Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Food Services Associate I to support daily food service operations, assist with tasks, and ensure quality service and patient-focused care.

Under general supervision, you may be asked to travel to other Carilion sites, require SERV-SAFE certification within a year if charged with operations, and participate in an emergency staffing plan while contributing to a collaborative team that delivers meals and nourishment to patients, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: None. SERV-SAFE Certification or equivalent certification from the Virginia Health Department or the ability to obtain certification within one year of hire date required for employees deemed in charge of departmental operations.
• Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Effective interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Other Minimum Qualifications: Position is deemed emergency staff during emergency weather conditions. May be reqired to travel to other Carilion work sites to meet staffing needs.

What We Require:

Compensation Range: $16.18 - $22.65 Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
