Job summary

MaineHealth's Maine Medical Center is seeking a Service/Maintenance Support team member in Food Services to support patient meal service. You may assist with meal selection, deliver meals, wash dishes and help with basic food preparation in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Strong teamwork and customer service are valued, and preferred qualifications include a HS diploma and ServSafe certification along with prior food service experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is preferred.
• Food safety certification is preferred (e.g., ServSafe).
• Relevant food service experience is preferred.

Summary

The Food Services Team Member role may be responsible for a variety of duties supporting the Nutrition & Food Services department, including assisting with patient meal selection, delivering meals, washing dishes, and fulfilling basic food preparation.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• 1. Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.


• 2. License/Certifications: Food safety certification preferred (e.g., ServSafe).


• 3. Experience: Relevant food service experience preferred.
