The Department of Food Services has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Food Service Worker – Trayline (U) position. The Food Service Worker – Trayline (U) assists in food tray preparation for hospital patients and ensures excellent customer service.

Core Job Functions:

1. Prepares patient meals in a safe and sanitary manner.
2. Maintains safe and sanitary work spaces.
3. Performs patient room service and tray line duties.
4. Makes and delivers courtesy trays.
5. Portions food for patients according to menu specifications and guidelines.
6. Performs dish room procedures correctly.
7. Cleans and sanitizes all pots and pans.
8. Breaks down equipment using proper procedures.
9. Adheres to University and departmental policies, safeguarding assets.
10. Follows CICARE and ACT standards for patient and family interactions.
