Job Description

The Food Service Worker will assist the manager with food/meal preparation, complete daily reports, and maintain high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position is $15.00. This figure represents Aramark’s expected offer and is an estimate as of the posting date.

Job Responsibilities

1. Prepare quality food and baked goods according to the menu.
2. Complete daily transaction reports.
3. Understand meal components.
4. Store food accurately and hygienically.
5. Serve food according to schedules and policies.
6. Use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives.
7. Prepare various food items and beverages timely.
8. Add garnishments for presentation and customer satisfaction.
9. Assist in cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and equipment.
10. Follow food safety and sanitation regulations.
11. Adhere to the uniform policy.
12. Coordinate with the manager daily for menu preparation.
13. Monitor food temperatures.
14. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
15. Clean counters, steam tables, and other equipment.
16. Follow procedures for cleanliness and safety, including sweeping, mopping, and ware washing.
17. Maintain a neat garbage and kitchen floor area.
18. Perform additional duties as assigned.
19. This role may involve physical activity such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods, and may require uniforms and PPE.
