**Job Description**

The Food Service Worker will assist the manager with food/meal preparation, maintain cash receipts and meal records, and assist in completing daily reports. The role requires maintaining high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.

**Long Description**

**Compensation:** The hourly rate for this position is $24.00 to $24.50. If both numbers are the same, that is the expected offer. This is Aramark's good faith estimate of the compensation as of the posting date.

**Job Responsibilities**

1. Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu.
2. Prepare daily transaction reports.
3. Understand meal components.
4. Store food accurately and hygienically.
5. Serve food according to schedules and policies.
6. Care for kitchen equipment, especially knives.
7. Prepare various food items and beverages promptly.
8. Add garnishments to enhance presentation and customer satisfaction.
9. Assist in cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen equipment.
10. Follow food safety regulations for sanitation, handling, and storage.
11. Adhere to uniform policies.
12. Coordinate with the manager daily for menu preparation.
13. Supervise food temperature requirements.
14. Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
15. Clean counters, sanitize equipment, and perform general cleaning duties.
16. Manage garbage and kitchen floor cleanliness.
17. Perform additional duties as assigned, including other kitchen areas.
18. Note: The role may involve physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and extended standing, and may require uniforms and PPE.
