Job summary

Jefferson Health is hiring for a food service position in Philadelphia. The role involves assembling patient trays and displays, stocking supplies, cleaning and sanitizing areas, and maintaining sanitation standards in a fast-paced hospital kitchen.

Shifts start as early as 5:30am and end as late as 8:45pm, with weekends and some holidays required. Rotating work schedule and cross-training in various assignments are included.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent or 3 years' experience.
• 1-3 years of previous food service experience.

Responsibilities

• Assembles patient trays, individual portions and displays in a fast-paced environment; stocks food and supplies.
• Completes ware-washing and sanitizing of dishes, glassware, utensils, pots and pans.
• Cleans and sanitizes kitchen and service areas and equipment; removes garbage and grease.
• Maintains regular, punctual attendance and interacts professionally with staff and visitors.
