The pay range for this position is listed below. Actual pay rate dependent upon experience.

$17.25 - $21.25

Position Highlights

Hours: 4:30 PM - 7:00 PM, with one weekend per month

Must be organized, detail-oriented, and possess good phone etiquette.

Job includes office work.

A Brief Overview

Helps provide quality customer meals through snack and meal assembly, service, and cleanup. Assists with meal service activities.

What you will do
  • Prepare and organize assigned food items efficiently and accurately for patients and other customers.
  • Serve food items in accordance with diet, specifications, and menu requirements.
  • Cleans and sanitizes equipment, utensils, dishes, pots/pans, floor mats, floors, and work areas following proper procedures.
  • Stocks storerooms, refrigerators, and work areas with supplies using the first-in, first-out principle and appropriate dating.
  • Operate dish machine and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • May work the register, close out register, and count money. Properly place money and money drawer in the designated location.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily, including having visual acuity adequate to perform position duties and the ability to communicate effectively with others, hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds. Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • One to six months of food service experience
