What You'll Do:

• Prepare food for patient meals and cafeteria service following established recipes and guidelines.

• Complete pre-preparation tasks including salads, entrees, vegetables, starches, gravies, and desserts.

• Set up carts for patient meal delivery.

• Prepare and deliver patient snacks based on orders.

• Assist with daily cleanup after meals and maintain ongoing cleanliness of the department.

• Follow food safety regulations and sanitation procedures at all times.

• Support a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment in accordance with all regulatory standards and hospital policies.

Qualifications

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education:	Minimum age of 17 required. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience:	Relevant previous food service experience preferred.
Preferred Skills:	Excellent skills in organization, prioritization, and multi-tasking. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects. Excellent interpersonal and technical skills. Strong attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to explain diverse technical problems in easy-to-understand language. Certifications/Registrations:	Food Safety Certification preferred.
