**Job Description**

The Food Service Worker will assist the manager with food/meal preparation, maintain cash receipts and meal records, and help complete daily reports. The role requires maintaining high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.

**Job Responsibilities**

1. Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu.
2. Verify transactions by preparing daily reports.
3. Understand meal components and inclusivity.
4. Store food accurately and hygienically.
5. Serve food following meal schedules and policies.
6. Operate and care for kitchen equipment, especially knives.
7. Prepare various food items and beverages timely.
8. Add garnishments for customer satisfaction and visual appeal.
9. Assist in cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and cooking/serving equipment.
10. Follow food safety regulations regarding sanitation, handling, and storage.
11. Adhere to the uniform policy.
12. Coordinate with the Manager daily to understand and prepare the menu.
13. Supervise food temperature requirements.
14. Maintain a clean, organized work and storage area.
15. Clean counters, sanitize steam tables, and other equipment.
16. Follow procedures for cleanliness, including sweeping, mopping, and ware washing.
17. Keep garbage and kitchen floor areas neat and sanitary.
18. Perform additional duties as assigned, including other kitchen areas.
19. Be prepared for physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended standing or walking. Use of uniforms and PPE may be required.
