Job Description

The Food Service Worker will assist the manager with food/meal preparation, maintain cash receipts and meal records, and help complete daily reports. Maintain high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices. This is a part-time position; availability to work every Saturday and Sunday is required.

Long Description

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position is $15.00. This is Aramark’s estimate of the compensation as of the posting date.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to the menu
• Complete daily transaction reports
• Understand meal components
• Store food safely and hygienically
• Serve food following schedules and policies
• Care for kitchen equipment, especially knives
• Prepare various food items and beverages timely
• Add garnishments for presentation and customer satisfaction
• Assist in cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and equipment
• Follow food safety and sanitation regulations
• Adhere to uniform policies
• Coordinate daily menu preparation with the manager
• Supervise food temperature requirements
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas
• Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing
• Manage garbage and kitchen floor cleanliness
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including other kitchen areas
• This role may involve physical activity such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods, and may require uniforms and PPE.
