Founded in 1960, AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic and optimistic team member for the Part-time Food Service Worker position at KIPP Columbus. This day-shift role offers most holidays and weekends off, with a bus stop conveniently located at the front entrance of the school.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Assist in preparing hot and cold foods, and store food properly, adhering to temperature and spoilage guidelines.
2. Set up stations with entrees, soups, salads, breads, condiments, and utensils.
3. Interact with guests in serving, retail, and dining areas.
4. Follow guest service procedures by smiling, making eye contact, and greeting guests.
5. Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment following all safety and regulatory standards.
6. Maintain a fast pace and multitask effectively.

Job Requirements:

1. Previous food service experience preferred.
2. Strong work ethic.
3. Effective communication with team members and other departments, demonstrating professionalism and respect.
4. Maintain professional relationships with team members, vendors, supervisors, managers, customers, and clients.
