Job Details

• Location: Silvercrest Center For Nursing - 144-45 87 Ave, Jamaica, NY 11435. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Part-time, including evenings, weekends, and holidays; specific hours vary and will be discussed during interview.
• Requirement: Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.
• Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares, presents, and serves food as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food safely.
• Stores food following safety standards.
• Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distributes supplies and utensils.
• Uses approved recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
• Serves customers efficiently and courteously.
• Resolves customer concerns and reports to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with sanitation, safety, and company standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
