Location: Quinnipiac University

We are hiring immediately for a Food Service Worker position.

Address: 275 Mt. Carmel Ave. Hamden, CT 06518

Schedule: Part Time, multiple shifts - Monday to Friday, 6am-10am, 10am-2pm, or 2pm-6pm

Requirements: Previous food service experience preferred.

Pay Rate: $16.35 per hour

Job Summary

Responsible for preparing, presenting, and serving food as needed. Essential duties include:

1. Performing prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
2. Measuring ingredients accurately.
3. Carrying pans, kettles, and trays safely.
4. Storing food properly, following safety and rotation procedures.
5. Cleaning work areas and utensils.
6. Distributing supplies and equipment.
7. Following recipes and standards to ensure quality and portion control.
8. Serving customers courteously and efficiently.
9. Resolving customer concerns and reporting to supervisors.
10. Ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
11. Performing other duties as assigned.
