Forefront Healthcare is hiring a Part-time Food Service Worker. You will be part of a supportive team! This is a great time to join our rapidly growing company. Position Summary

The Dietary Aide is responsible for setting up the dining area and trays for meal service, adhering to food safety guidelines, and following dietary restrictions based on residents' needs. Assists the cook in meal preparation and service, ensuring residents receive high-quality service following scheduled meal times and established policies.

Essential Job Functions
  • Assist cook/supervisor with food preparation and service according to specific procedures, guidelines, and regulations.
  • Deliver residents’ meal carts, set up and clean dining areas.
  • Record refrigerator temperatures; clean and stock as needed.
  • Wash and store dishes, maintaining sanitation and kitchen maintenance.
  • Follow Federal, State, and community rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
  • 1 year food service experience preferred.
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Ability to communicate clearly at all community levels.
  • Desire and commitment to work with geriatric residents, understanding their needs.
  • Ability to follow directions and complete assignments.
  • Teamwork skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • ServSafe certification is desirable.
Education Requirement

High school diploma or GED.

Physical Demands

Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Additional Information

Shift: 6:00AM - 10:30AM, every other weekend. Hourly wage: $16.11 - $18.00.
