We are hiring immediately for part-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions.

Location: Greencastle Community Schools - 500 Linwood Drive, Greencastle, IN 46135. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Part-time, Monday through Friday, 10:30 am to 1:30 pm; more details upon interview.

Requirement: Previous food service experience in a K12 environment is preferred but not required.

Pay Range: $12.00 to $13.00 per hour.

Summary: Prepares, presents, and serves food as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator following safety standards.
• Stores food properly, following safety procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils, and equipment.
• Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality and proper portioning.
• Serves customers courteously and efficiently.
• Resolves customer concerns and informs supervisors as needed.
• Ensures compliance with sanitation, safety, and company standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
